One important tip I will give you seems to get skipped over by many people. The funny thing is, it is so simple!
Eat foods that have lots of protein and fibre, (all bran cereal,chicken,fish,eggs,whole grain breads etc...
These fibre and protein rich foods not only have a ton of health benefits but they also help fill you up! This leads to less eating which as we know is great in preventing weight gain!
There you have it, eat more fibre and protein rich foods!!!

Try to get in 5-10 servings of fruits/veggies per day!
Also cut back on some of the processed foods and go for healthier fresh foods!
Have nuts/almonds instead of chips,cookies,treats,brownies,donuts,pretzels,etc..
